Hypothalamus: Afferent Projections

One of the pathways that connects the hypothalamus to other parts of the regions of the brain is MFB (Median Forbrain Bundle) connections.

MFB connections represent:

Olfactory inputs to tegmentum
Septal nuclei to limbic
Locus ceruleus to hypothalamus
